The Senior Data Analyst will direct the preparation of data-driven insights for business decision makers to help develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes. The role will drive the analysis of data to support the process they are enabling through the identification, analysis and interpretation of trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations to aid in complex data storytelling. The role may coordinate the creation, maintenance and/or improvement of exploratory and predictive analytics statistical models for ongoing and ad hoc review and analysis of data. The role will work autonomously with limited direct supervision from senior team members. Will provide coaching, task management and support to Data Analyst promoting best practice across multiple domains, and/or
stakeholder groups.
Typical Accountabilities
· Implementation of Analytical Solutions: Coordinate the implementation of analytical and data visualization solutions to interrogate datasets for insights within project scope. Solutions may utilize tools like Python, PowerBI, and cloud- based platforms. These solutions may also involve exploratory and predictive analytics models.
o Design prototypes and build functional designs for reporting and visualization.
o Hands-on use of PowerBI for developing dashboards and prototypes
· Project Management Perspective on Data and Analytics: Apply a strong understanding of project management principles to ensure timely delivery of data solutions aligned with business objectives.
· Data Modeling: Lead the creation of conceptual and logical data models to support analytics initiatives and ensure data
integrity.
· Data Products and Standardization: Drive the creation and implementation of data products in alignment with the organization’s data strategy. Promote standardization and best practices to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
· Change Management: Act as a catalyst for change within the organization, promoting and embedding a culture of data-driven decision-making. Facilitate the transition to standardized, strategic approaches to data and analytics. Serve as an advocate for data governance and quality assurance practices.
· Data Requirements: Collaborate with business users to define data requirements and translate unstructured business problems into structured data designs and solutions.
· Data Wrangling: Conduct ad hoc sourcing, extraction, profiling, and integration of data to support omnichannel campaigns, advanced analytics, and Data Science model generation.
· CRM and ERP Data Models: Apply knowledge of CRM and ERP data models to ensure solutions align with organizational data structures and processes, facilitating seamless integration and analysis.
· Analytics Problem Solving: Coordinate the translation of business problems into analytics questions, propose solutions,
and deliver actionable insights.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of results, uncertainties, and limitations.
· Advanced Analytics: Provide expertise in exploratory, descriptive, and predictive data analytics as a first level to shape solutions that drive business value in collaboration with data scientist.
· Visualization Development: Create innovative visualizations and tools to support complex analytical solutions.
· Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on trends, methodologies, and developments in analytics to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
· Global and Local Data & Reporting Ecosystems: Liaise with global digital and data and reporting teams on projects related to global data ecosystems and act as a bridge between global and local teams.
· Adoption and Training: Drive adoption of available tools with stakeholders and provide training to collaborators on optimal use of key data and analytics tools.
· Regulatory and Data Governance Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain tools and solutions that meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, industry-specific directives). Ensure alignment with data governance practices and organizational policies.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
· Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent
years of experience
· Strong project management experience in data and
analytics contexts.
· Experience in life sciences and healthcare
· Hands-on expertise with PowerBI, including the
development of prototypes and functional designs.
· Knowledge of functional and technical design principles.
· Proven experience in driving change management and
acting as a data and analytics ambassador.
· Working experience with web analytics and media
analytics is required
· Demonstrated knowledge of database systems (eg SQL,
NoSQL, graph) and ML programming language such
Python and R.
· Experience using Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, GTM
· Demonstrated experience in the complex analysis of
data in applied business and/or scientific application
domains
· Excellent written and verbal communication, business
analysis, and consultancy skills
· Advanced ability to draw conclusions from data and
present in a succinct fashion to stakeholders
· Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (ie: Teallium,
SFData Cloud, Treasure Data, …)
· Knowledge of Marketing Activation tools and its data
model (Adobe Campaign, Twilio, Sengrid, …)
·
· Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy regulations,
as well as familiarity with data governance frameworks.
