Device Quality Engineering Summer Intern

We are seeking an undergraduate freshman majoring in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field, for a 12-Week Student Intern role in Durham, NC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Job Duties:

• Develop an onboarding process for device quality engineers.
• interact with device quality team members to understand qualifications, education and daily responsibilities.
• Interface with key stakeholders to align training expectations, understand ways of working with key stakeholders, operate within the validated systems in quality to implement a training and onboarding program.
• Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with a cross functional team and presenting in team meetings.

Requirements:

• An undergraduate freshman majoring in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and desire to work in a regulated environment.
• A strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Enthusiasm for collaboration, scientific communication, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
• US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
• This role will not be providing OPT or CPT support.
• Ability to report onsite to Durham, NC five days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0
