Job Title: Consultant - IT Platform Engineer

Career Level - C3

Overall Responsibility: develops the Test approach and leads the testing setup / activities throughout the
lifecycle of the project
1. Show willingness to assume a T-shaped role, balancing primary testing responsibilities with
hands-on .NET coding tasks as needed.
2. Exhibit problem-solving skills and the capacity to work effectively in both independent and team
settings.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in .NET development, with the ability to write, test, and maintain high-
quality code.
4. Work with the application and technical architecture teams to plan one or more of the following:
component, product, performance, and user acceptance tests.
5. Determine all testing environment requirements and tools.
6. Review the development process to ensure defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and
migration of defects) is properly addressed. If not, define the defect tracking process and
incorporate it into the overall development process.
7. Manage testers' work throughout the test plan development and test execution to ensure that
testing is on time and within budget.
8. Allocate test resources to application tests in a multi-test environment.
9. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable, plus meet entry and exit
criteria.
10. Measure and monitor progress during each test to ensure that the application is tested,
confirmed, piloted on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
11. Ensure the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified
in the testing approach.
12. Participate in quality management reviews to ensure adherence to all quality management
standards.
13. Take responsibility for the traceability of systems requirements.
14. Troubleshoot application issues by referring to the application logs and by a dry run of the
application code. Also, be able to spot and provide a fix through application code changes as
necessary.
15. Build, Deploy and release fixes by following the standard SDLC and ITIL process.
16. Be able to work on application enhancements and application upgrades when necessary.
17. Provide resolution for user reported issues within defined timelines (as per the internal SLA/OLA
standards).
18. Proactive monitoring of the ticketing queues and other support channels to quickly acknowledge
and respond to user reported issues within the established SLAs.
19. Be able to liaise with other internal teams/vendors (third-party suppliers) as applicable for
addressing application issues and any project needs.
20. Follow good documentation practices such as creating KBAs (Knowledge Base Articles) and
publishing those KBAs for quicker and easier access to better address issues and tickets.
21. Constantly thrive to learn and upskill according to the organization’s goals and demands.
Essential Skills/Experience Required:
Clinical Data Technology Domain:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Data
Management, Information Technology or Biostatistics or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 6+ years experience
3. Basic experience programming in .NET.
4. Basic experience with Azure Cloud.
5. Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and Automated Testing tools.
6. Experience working in agile teams using methodologies such as SCRUM and/or SAFe.
7. Expertise and engineering mindset to help design and implement a Clinical Data Solutions adhering
to Products on the Platform delivery model.
8. Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and ensure delivery to a high degree of satisfaction.
9. Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
10. Confidently communicate using interpersonal skills to lead customers, from technical personnel to
senior stakeholders, in urgent or critical situations.
11. Knowledge of using and creating build tools and CI/GitHub Actions
