Key Responsibilities

• Create design schemes from initial concept for components, assemblies, jigs, patterns and tooling.
• Surface components and prepare laminate specification booklets.
• Provide follow‑up support during assembly, testing and development stages. 
• Develop practical solutions to issues uncovered during testing and development.
• Contribute proactively to the development and improvement of design concepts.
• Participate in meetings, collaborate across departments and support professional engineering workflows.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of composite design and industry standards. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A degree in a composite engineering or related discipline.
• Experience producing high‑level design schemes and detailed drawings of complex assemblies.
• Strong 3D CAD skills—ideally with Catia V5 surfacing—and good solid modelling knowledge.
• Understanding of composite manufacturing and pre‑preg technologies.
• Relevant experience in an F1 environment (desirable).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines. 
• A proactive, reliable and self‑motivated approach, with strong teamwork skills.
