Job Description

Responsible for the design and coordination of plumbing, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems for large-scale building projects such as airports, metro stations, and commercial complexes.

• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for plumbing and firefighting systems.

• Ensure designs comply with national/international standards and project requirements.

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for design integration.

• Review vendor submissions and shop drawings.

• Conduct site visits for design validation and technical support.

• Support tender documentation, BOQ preparation, and material selection.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in designing Plumbing systems for Buildings, Airports, Metro Stations or similar large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design software
• Strong knowledge of international building codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IEC, NFPA)
• Strong communication skills... teamwork... client relations... willingness to travel 

Additional Information

• Expertise in water supply, drainage, and firefighting system design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant design software.

• Good understanding of NBC, IS codes, and international standards.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.
