Job Description
Your future team:
We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM & Digital Engineer to join our Defence Infrastructure client’s team. This role involves contributing to the BIM modelling and BIM coordination aspects of our projects, working under the guidance of the Task Team Manager/BIM Manager.
Your missions:
The successful candidate will be responsible for model authoring, federation, clash management, H&S in BIM, COBie, IFC, and Classification Delivery, as well as maintaining a structured set of BIM objects within a broader BIM data set.
⚡ Produce high-quality BIM models and output drawing, ensuring alignment with the H&S section of the project BEP.
⚡ Validate models using the model validation checklist and ensure adherence to project volume strategy.
⚡ Provide BIM authoring support using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Civils 3D, and other key platforms and create high-quality, parametric-based BIM families and objects for native authoring platforms.
⚡ Meet BIM Level 2 standards as outlined in BS1192:4 and PAS 1192:6 for collaborative production and sharing of structured information.
⚡ Deliver COBie data-rich models and apply Uniclass classifications using the COBie Toolkit and Uniclass Classification Tool.
⚡ Collaborate with the Digital Library Coordinator to ensure BIM objects are accurately stored in the project and the wider MIP Digital Library.
⚡ Provide 4D and 5D support for projects, preparing models for 4D purposes and working with project control teams for 5D estimations.

Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills to be successful:
🔹 HNC, Diploma, or Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, or a related multi-disciplinary field.
🔹 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of design and construction experience in relevant disciplines.
🔹 BIM Knowledge: Proven experience with BIM throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
🔹 Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Civils 3D, and awareness or experience with Solibri, Synchro, Dynamo, and NBS (specification).
🔹 Standards Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM Level 2 requirements.

BPSS required to start, SC clearance may be required once joined.
Staff or umbrella contractor (inside IR35).
