Introduction to the job

Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification and the design of ASML products.

In this sector, the department Software Quality & Integration (SQI) integrates and qualifies the various software deliveries into a software release.

The job includes building quality code for our tools, automating processes which is used for software release and integration group.

Role and responsibilities

As a Software Engineer your responsibility includes:

• Apply Agile methodology to develop software using Python.

• Improve quality of our tools used by internal and external stakeholders

• Identify and automate the manual steps in the process where possible

• Design modular, scalable and robust solutions that meet customer requirements.

• Evaluation of technical issues, risks, and dependencies

Education and experience

Bachelor or Master Level preferable  in Computer Science, Informatics, Embedded Systems or related fields.

Skills

• Strong knowledge and practice of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, reviews source code management, build process, testing and operations.

• Software developer/designer experience (5+ years)

• Experience working with Git/GitLab/GitHub actions

• Strong Knowledge of C/C++/Python, Django framework

• Experience with Linux (RHEL) / Windows / Office applications

• Preferable knowledge on design patterns

• Cloud knowledge (Azure, GCP)
