Introduction to the job

As a senior software engineer at ASML, you’ll exhumes technical leadership and are the beacon of engineering excellence  that will inspire and motivate team members to rise to the same level! You ensure that within the Software Quality & Integration (SQI) department .

Role and responsibilities

You’ll be the senior software engineer in charge of realizing the Test Infrastructure teams roadmap for EUV Source and Scanner. Challenging our organization, to maintain a healthy balance between state-of-the-art technology, security, performance, and stability.

You’ll work on software tools and frameworks used to automate installation, testing and maintenance of test hardware (Testbenches).

As senior software engineer, you’ll:

• Working on test scheduling and management applications used by developers to test software deliveries on various resources (virtual and real hardware)

• In charge of realizing the Test Infrastructure teams roadmap for EUV Source and Scanner.

• Targeting commonality in the solutions delivered for different domains (EUV Source and Scanner).

• Targeting observability, traceability and monitoring infrastructure for the tooling.

• Setting the standard for engineering excellence and guiding your fellow team members closer to that same level of excellence.

• Delivering well-tested high quality solutions that minimize your time spent on operational responsibilities.

Education and experience

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high[1]tech products and with complex processes. As senior lead engineer, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering (Python), best practices

• At least 3 years of experience in utilizing DevOps best practices specifically test automation strategy and CI/CD setup

• Experience with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub actions, Kubernetes, Helm, SQL MySQL, Django, FastAPI, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Linux (especially RHEL) systems

• Preferably experience with implementing and maintaining highly scalable systems, machine learning, Python Celery, C++, Typescript, Javascript, Vue and React

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
