Job Mission

ASML, the market leader in the semiconductor lithography equipment, is looking to fill the role of Project Lead in Re-Use and Repair Engineering Korea.

In this role you are responsible to lead projects with Suppliers to deliver technical solutions for the ReUse of selected parts. Enabling the operational and business targets of the Re-Use and Repair sector and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.

Job Description

In this role you’re primary responsible for project management of Re-Use and Repair solution development with OEM suppliers and/or 3rd parties. In addition to that, you’re responsible for all technical alignment with D&E, alignment with sourcing team and prepare the operational flow with local/global stakeholders in the repair centers, logistics, supplier account teams to rollout new repair solutions across the world.

Using your strong project management skills, technical background, strategic thinking and supplier management skills, you manages the project by finding the right stakeholders and defining project objectives and business benefits and finally finish the project within time and budget. You’re going to lead ASML Re-Use projects with quality environmental and cost-reduction optimization mindset based on ASML’s culture Challenge, Collaboration and Care.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Driving to achieve Target KPI on project developments
  • Planning and managing multiple projects with investments simultaneously (Manpower, Budget, Time and others) based on project priorities
  • Leading projects to ensure on-track progress and communicating with stakeholders (Reuse central team, Operations team, Sourcing, Logistics, D&E)
  • Leading to mitigate project risks through stakeholder alignments and to develop solutions for project problems
  • Ensuring projects to assure repair quality through development completeness
  • Managing the project life cycle from Feasibility review to Volume manufacturing
  • Report issues and progress to VHV Reuse central team
  • Find / manage the outsourcing of Reuse and Repair activities
  • Prioritizes the project backlog with stakeholders
  • Make operational flow with local/global stakeholders in logistics and repair centers
  • Support rollout of new local repair activities across the world such as Taiwan, China, USA and others

Education and Experience

  • Master or bachelor in technical subject, with project management skills
  • 7+ years experience in relevant industry and proven experience, 10+ years of total experiences within project management
  • Stakeholder management in a complex organizational structure
  • Relationships with internal and external partners
  • Experience in a complex organizational structure.
  • Experience internal and external stakeholder and business partner management.
  • Experience with ASML high tech products (i.e. Twin, NXT, NXE), e.g. in CS department is desired

  • Multi-disciplinary & multi-cultural understanding, values differences and to be able to bridge between different departments and people
  • Capable to deal with a broad range of technical subject matters
  • Strong technical leadership in part repair and testing ensuring maximum quality
  • Focused on quality, continuous improvement with cost-reduction mindset
  • Highly motivated team player with good social and communication skills
  • To be flexible and enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Good verbal and written language skills in English

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
