Introduction

The ASML Global Support Center (GSC) for EUV machines is responsible to service as a 3rd line support to the hundreds EUV machines installed globally. GSC operates 24x7 from 3 different global locations.

the GSC EUV Continuous Improvement team is focusing on supporting and driving our GSC initiatives on improving our ways of working. Our team goal is to reduce the outflux of escalations from first and second line towards 3rd line, through knowledge sharing and increased capabilities of 1st and 2nd line. We focus on creating clear visibility through data analysis and critical dashboards creation. We are optimizing and creating new processes to support the transition of the department from a reactive mode to a more proactive and predictive work.

Your assignment

You will be an active and visible player within our team, working on and supporting Continuous Improvement projects, involving Industrial Engineering, process mapping, business process re-engineering, ROI Calculations and Data Analytics activities. You have knowledge of KPI measurements, and ensure the right dashboards are created, automated and shared. Additionally, you will perform project management activities related to data management, optimize and define new processes, automate KPI's, and you will create dashboards from multiple source data.

You will work with Project Managers / Leads to define the GSC processes and develop Sharepoint pages or other User-Interface Apps – power BI / power automate, that are used to execute GSC processes. You will generate automated reports and write use cases for the GSC Processes.

Your profile

To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor/HBO or master student in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics or Informatics, looking for an apprentice internship (non-thesis);

  • Are skilled and/or willing to learn Process Mapping, value stream mapping, resource optimization models and business process re-engineering;

  • Are self-driven with an analytical mindset and have interest in managing projects;

  • Are skilled in Power BI, Power Automate and MS SharePoint. You preferably have an affinity with Data Analytics;

  • Enjoy multi-cultural settings and have good English language skills.

This is a bachelor or master apprentice (non-thesis) internship for 3 - 5 days per week (3 days on-site), for a minimum of 6 months up to 1 year. The start date is as soon as possible, with a start date in February 2025 the latest.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
