HR| educational sciences internship: learning and knowledge management technology

Introduction

The Learning and Knowledge Management Technology team aims to deliver an integrated, employee-centric Learning & Knowledge ecosystem that provides leading end-to-end solutions which drive employee development and provide instant access to our collective knowledge, thereby unlocking the potential of our employees and reducing time to competence & time to knowledge. We are part of the ASML Academy and collaborate strongly with business owners in the sector. You will be part of the learning and knowledge management community of ASML and learn from and share your knowledge with others.
 

Your assignment

As Learning & Knowledge Management (L&KM) Technology team we are responsible for three global platforms: The Learning Experience Platform (or LXP), myLearning (LMS), and the Knowledge library (or eLibrary). These provide development opportunities for our employees for their current and aspired role. We support other L&KM professionals in best usage of these platforms. For this internship we are looking for a candidate who wants to learn more about the day to day activities in these development platforms and is eager to help both our professional community and our employees to get the most out of these platforms. 
 

Key deliverables include:

• Work closely together with Learning and Knowledge Management Technology professionals to drive usage and embedding of our LXP, LMS and eLibrary.

• Analyse results from LXP to understand current usage, and where there is opportunity to improve/drive usage and understanding of the solutions for both end users and L&KM professionals.

• Help prepare educational materials such as learning guidelines, work instructions, videos, PPT’s to support our ASML Academy professionals in the usage of LXP and Knowledge Library

• Identify, review, design and deliver end user support material to ensure our employees have direct access to best in class support material for LXP, LMS and eLibrary.

• Work closely together with the Change & Transformation team to finds ways to communicate and promote the LXP and eLibrary for different target groups within our businesses.

This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (2/3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2025.
 

Your profile

To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you:

• Have a background in Educational Sciences, Communication Studies, Human Resource Management, Training Sciences or a related study;

• Understand and have passion for how people learn, learning design, learning and knowledge management technology;

• Understand the fundamental principles of UX design;

• Understanding of positioning of learning and knowledge in organizations;

• Have advanced knowledge of Office suite applications;

• Are able to work autonomously and contribute as a team player;

• Have ability to communicate with people of all levels including users, subject matter experts, and senior managers.
   

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
