Job Mission

In the Yieldstar Application On-tool Software group we are looking for an Application Software Architect to join our team! Within ASML you will provide the software solutions that make our machines complete and unique.

You will be involved at all stages of the software development process: specification, high-level design, qualification and integration of our world-leading products. You will be responsible for creating clear specifications on requirements, making efficient design choices and to 'make it happen' by co-operation with your development team, product owner, and other architects. Next to this, you will be responsible for providing effort estimate roll-ups for the work at hand and identify dependencies on others. You will interface with both internal and external parties.
 

Job Description

Together with other Application and Platform Software Architects, you are involved during the entire product development cycle, with primarily focus on the software needed to develop the product. Together with integration, the Software Architect plays a key factor during qualification, incorporating testability and diagnosability in the design product. You identify risks and make mitigation plans, guide and coach your development team with strategy and planning of upcoming products.
 

Education and Experience

• You have a BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent,

• > 10 years experience in architecture and development/engineering of software for complex high-tech embedded systems (with focus on product, not process),

• Experience with change and project management is a pre,

• Experience in working in SAFe or Agile team environment and applying lean practices is a pre.
