Summer Intern – Nuclear Projects

The Role
Asite is looking for two interns to support our Product team on a live nuclear-sector project.
You will help review, document and analyse selected GBE-N requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear product and process outputs. No previous Business Analysis experience is required.

What you'll do
- Support the gathering and documentation of business and user requirements.
- Attend selected requirements meetings, workshops and internal discussions.
- Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create process maps for current and proposed workflows.
- Review requirements against existing Asite functionality.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and areas requiring clarification.
- Maintain a structured requirements tracker.
- Support product demonstrations, walkthroughs and internal presentations.
- Assist with testing and validating proposed solutions.
- Produce a final summary of findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
You must be:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student.
- Studying a STEM subject relevant to the nuclear sector.
- Able to demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a career in nuclear.
Relevant subjects may include:
- Nuclear Engineering or Nuclear Science
- Physics or Radiation Physics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chemical or Process Engineering
- Materials Science or Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Control and Instrumentation Engineering
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Computer Science or Software Engineering
We are also looking for:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to organise complex information.
- Confidence working collaboratively and asking questions.
