Lead Software Engineer - Backend (Bangalore)

What you’ll do

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end development process of complex web applications using Golang
• Work on complex distributed systems.
• Write clean code and follow best coding practices.
• Focus on delivering great user experiences
• Communicate with other teams to deliver a unified and consistent UX across all of our applications
• Collaborate to take our development to the next level: bring new ideas, frameworks, technologies and best practices
• Contribute to the growth of the team by engaging in the recruiting process
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and share your knowledge as appropriate
• Participate in team discussions and perform high quality code reviews.
• Contribute to an on-call rotation for technical support, ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 6 - 9 years of back-end software development experience
• Advanced GoLang or similar programming language experience ( Python, Java)
• Experience working with distributed systems, cloud services (we use AWS), dockerized environments, and familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Excellent architectural skills, with proven experience in designing complex software systems.
