Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Hardware Engineering team in Kyiv and help build the next generation of our autonomous ground systems.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on designing and integrating robust electrical systems for our robotic platforms. You will get the opportunity to contribute to a variety of critical projects, collaborating across teams to deliver technology that makes a real-world impact.

In this role, you will: 

  • Define, improve, and integrate the core electrical and mechanical systems that form the backbone of our autonomous robots.
  • Source and qualify cutting-edge components and suppliers to ensure our systems meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate across software, mechanical, and user-facing teams to deliver seamless, human-centered solutions.
  • Become a technical expert on our systems, providing hands-on support, troubleshooting, and training to our end-users in the field.
  • Champion and validate new technical solutions, continuously pushing the boundaries of what our platforms can achieve.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation that empowers our team and scales our operations.

Your Profile 

  • A proven track record with 3+ years of experience in diagnosing, integrating, or providing technical support for complex hardware systems.
  • Excellent hands-on troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a drive to solve complex technical challenges.
  • A degree or technical education in mechatronics, electronics, mechanics, or a similar field.
  • Solid knowledge of industrial protocols and network interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher), enabling you to collaborate with our international team.
  • The flexibility and willingness to travel for business trips within Ukraine to support our users and projects.
  • A valid driver’s license and experience with manual transmission vehicles, which is essential for field operations.
  • Experience with robotics or skills in electrical/mechanical design tools (like EPLAN or Autodesk Inventor) are a significant plus.
