Job Description

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is looking for a Security Network Engineer for one of our clients, a key organisation in the financial domain.

Context

In line with a strong commitment to securing applications, enforcing strict access controls, and reducing attack surfaces, the organisation is strengthening its security posture through the adoption of Zero Trust security principles and advanced network segmentation strategies.
The role contributes to the design and implementation of secure, resilient network architectures that minimise the risk of unauthorised access while supporting modern enterprise environments.

Role & Responsibilities

• Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Zero Trust security architectures in enterprise environments.
• Defining and deploying network segmentation and micro-segmentation solutions to enforce granular access controls.
• Assessing security requirements and translating them into technical Zero Trust strategies aligned with organisational needs and industry standards.
• Performing security assessments and risk analyses, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing mitigation measures.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including solution design documents (SDDs), architecture diagrams, security policies, and procedures.
• Supporting implementation activities, including low-level design and configuration of security solutions.
• Providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing on Zero Trust concepts and network segmentation practices.
• Monitoring emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends related to Zero Trust, network security, and micro-segmentation.

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex security challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to design, documentation, and implementation activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments.
• Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset.
• English: professional working proficiency (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of French and/or Dutch would be considered an asset.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience designing and implementing Zero Trust security architectures in enterprise contexts.
• Strong expertise in network segmentation and micro-segmentation technologies, such as:
  • Cisco Secure Workload
  • VMware NSX
  • Illumio
  • Guardicore
  • Cisco ACI or equivalent solutions
• Solid understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and access control mechanisms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet security solutions.
• Knowledge and operational experience with Check Point firewalls.
• Experience working with security and compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR).
• Ability to deliver low-level designs (SDD) and support implementation activities.

Certification

• Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security) would be considered an asset.
