Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Global PA&B Organization Implementation Director. This role is a key member of the Finance Transformation team, working closely with the PA&B BPO, and responsible for the implementation of the PA&B organization design across the finance organization, in support of delivering a best-in-class finance organization with a People First focus.
Key areas of the role include co-ordination of activities and the management of stakeholders across the Accounting and GBA Finance pillars, as well as across Operations; working closely with the PA&B BPO and the in-country implementation teams; developing policies and procedures to support the operation of PA&B activities
The role sits in the Finance Transformation team and reports directly to the Global Accounting Officer.
Role accountabilities:
- Supporting the PA&B BPO to successfully deliver the target PA&B organization design through the management and co-ordination of activities across Finance and Operations in-country, and aligned with the GSSC PA&B organization
- Interpreting and taking the Conops document into the next level of detail so that it can be implemented effectively at a country level
- Developing policies and procedures to support the operation of PA&B activities, including process flows, ensuring and managing the alignment across the GBA Finance pillar and Operations. The BPO/BPE's and SMEs will write the policies and procedures
- Responsible for day-to-day management of issues raised in the country implementations that require resolution across Finance and Operations
- Responsible for working with Operations to co-ordinate activities that align with and help support the implementation of the PA&B organization design
- Identifying, managing and escalating issues in the implementation to ensure prompt resolution to meet the implementation planned timelines.
Key shared accountabilities:
- Working closely with the PA&B BPO, Finance Transformation team and the country implementation teams to provide guidance and support to deliver the PA&B organization in line with the ConOps principles and PA&B Charter, ensuring that they are understood and translated operationally
- Together with each country project team, successfully implementing the PA&B organization locally
Qualifications & Experience:
- Preferably a good understanding of the Arcadis business and its complexities, and a strong understanding of Project Finance activities and process.
- Experience leading (cross-functional) workshops to drive consensus.
- Experience of leading change management implementation and transformational projects.
- Ability to operate at a strategic level and deep dive, as needed, into operational / tactical detail.
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization and influence senior stakeholders.
- Motivated self-starter able to hit the ground running with strong decision-making, communication, organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a global business environment that is undergoing culture, process and technology changes.
- Embraces a strong cultural sensitivity and awareness that different business processes and requirements exist and will require harmonization.
- Must be time-zone flexible and willing to work as a team to cultivate change and process improvements.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, solutions oriented, and deadline driven.
