Role description:

Principal Engineer (Roadway Design -NA Infra) - Design and 3D modelling for Design & Build and State DoT projects with proficiency in various Bentley tools as mentioned in Mandatory Technical Skills. Will have to carry out design and production Roadway design, 3D Modelling, CAD production and quantities and should have work experience as Task Manager and should have led project team size of more than 4 at least once for D&B Projects. Experience on D & B projects – concept design, Alternative Technical Concepts and detailed design of projects, involved in construction support. Should have handled Design –Build projects for any of international projects.
Specific US experience is most desirable

Role accountabilities:

• Responsible for end to end project design and delivery for Roadway design tasks;
• Responsible for managing technical aspects of larger and/or more complex tasks or components of projects, meeting financial, quality, timeframe and health and safety objectives
• Coordinating with multiple offices in multiple geographical locations to coordinate and execute complex Design Build projects
• Preparation / Finalization of various roadway related drawings at various stages of projects;
• Computation of quantities;
• Preparation of design reports; and,
• Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys;
• Coaching and mentoring team members.
• Ability to lead and design D & B projects
• Should have handled minimum of 2 D & B projects-overseas preferably for ANA in Infrastructure Business. 
• Should have worked for US Projects and must be conversant with AASHTO and various DOT specifications and standards. 
• Good knowledge, hands-on experience on MicroStation (Mandatory), and knowledge of OpenRoads.
• Knowledge of Bentley tools (e.g., LumenRT, ProjectWise) is an advantage.
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong and effective communicator
• Working in a team environment
• Experience working on international projects. USA projects is desirable.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E / BTech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) with a Master’s in Transportation Engineering (Desirable)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment as of December 31, 2024.
• Minimum of 7 years of working experience for International Design projects and a minimum of 2 years of working experience for USA projects (desirable) in delivering various design tasks.
• Having work experience in Large Design Projects in the lead role is an added advantage.

Experience working on international projects. North America (NA) projects are desirable.
