Expert Software Engineer - Testing

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Test innovative software solutions in embedded environments
• Develop and execute testcases for a cross-domain middleware platform based on technical requirements within a modern toolchain.
  • Python environment
  • C++ Applications
  • Jenkins deployments
• Take responsibility for the execution of standards and processes in Automotive industry.
• Work in an Agile cross-function development team.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge in testing techniques
• Familiarity with common Testing Tools e.g.: pytest library
• 5+ years Python programming skills.
• Object Oriented Programming knowledge is a must
• Daily usage of CI/CD tools
• Daily usage of Linux

Advantageous:

• Familiarity with requirements engineering tools (e.g. Polarion).
• C++ experience
• Extensive understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and POSIX-based embedded systems.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR.
• Automotive software development (v-cycle, ASPICE, etc.)
