Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The Senior AI Engineer must, working independently, design and deploy large- scale, user-facing streaming and batch systems to deliver products to hundreds of large corporations dependent on AppZen’s AI-driven analytics to assess financial behavior.
• Process large data quantities using data streaming technologies including Kafka Connectors.
• Develop software in AWS open-source cloud environment and databases including Postgres, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, and Amazon S3.
• Build applications within microservice design architecture to be structured as a collection of services, highly maintainable and loosely coupled, essential to high availability and scalability.
• Create algorithms and translate business logic to code using Golang, Python, C++, and Java.
• Manage, batch and process data using complex business logic deployed on top of popular infrastructure tools.
• Work with observability tools for production systems.
• Work effectively in a DevOps environment using Agile/Scrum to collaborate with distributed and cross-functional teams in engineering and product management to establish common objectives on business & technical priorities, to capture efficiencies and strengthen innovation.
• Identify and execute on high impact corporate projects, triage external requests, and bring projects to conclusion in time for the results to be useful.

Must-Have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 36 months of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
• 18 months experience in designing and deploying large-scale, user-facing streaming and batch systems; processing large data quantities using data streaming technologies; developing software in AWS; creating algorithms and translating business logic to code using Python, C++, and Java.
• Knowledge of Golang.
