Job Description
We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our Body Performance team, specializing in CAE simulation and analysis. In this role, you will execute advanced CAE activities and integration projects, serving as a technical representative of Applus+ IDIADA to our external clients, ensuring clear communication of technical findings and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines and deliverables
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation, interpreting simulation results and presenting findings to clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CAE activities into broader engineering projects and product development cycles
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAE methodologies, tools, and best practices within the organization
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar position focused on simulation
- Strong expertise in LS-DYNA / Nastran / Abaqus or other CAE simulation tools
- Proficiency in CAE pre/post-processing software: ANSA/META or similar
- Knowledge of structural principles
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex simulation data
- Experience with FE model creation and management
