Python Automation Engineer
We are looking for a QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing using Python, Selenium, and Git. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and bug reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring their resolution and delivering high-quality software to our customers.
Primary Skills:
Minimum 4 -7years of Proven work experience in SW development or QA.
Proven work experience in Python and Selenium.
Experience in writing or enhancing test plan, methodologies and framework– including interpretation of functional and non-functional requirements and translation into appropriate test plans, scenarios etc.
Have a broad view of the application, architecture, and system integrations.
Strong experience with debugging and isolating defects.
Experienced in Agile or scrum development methodologies.
Experience in doing performance testing and benchmarking using tools available.
Good to have experience with DevOps tools.
Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role with strong programming skills in Python.
Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and scripts in using test automation tools, such as Selenium WebDriver.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Exposure to SW System design and performance testing, integration testing, chaos testing, etc.
Roles and Responsibility:
Develop and implement test automation strategies, frameworks, and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and identify areas suitable for automation.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and programming languages.
Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report any issues or defects.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.
Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage and timely resolution of issues.
Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and frameworks.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.
Collaborate with other testers to ensure a seamless integration of automated and manual testing efforts.
Provide support and guidance to the QA team on manual and test automation techniques and best practices.
