Corporate Strategy Intern – Data Science

The winning candidate has a passion for data analytics, statistics, and visualization. She/he will use data analysis and visualization tools and methodologies to provide insights to business owners, finance, and management stakeholders, including C-suite. She/he will work across the company, showcasing strong interpersonal and outstanding written, visualization, and verbal communication skills.

Winning candidate will:

• Participate in the design, development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. used to drive key business decisions.
• Work within controls to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality of all managerial and business intelligence reports, views, dashboards, and user data.
• Work and understand various data source, business process and systems.
• Analyze and interpret data, create what if simulator, regression, and various analytics model.
• Work with others in the development of data warehouses and other data sources to support managerial and business intelligence reporting needs.

Winning candidate needs:

• Qualified candidates will be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business or related majors
• Students must be passionate about data, visualization, data science and statistic
• Creativity, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, strong analytical skills and self-learning
• Ability to work in a team and to work independently
• Strong English oral and written communication skills, high attention to detail
• Outstanding proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Data Science Techniques, and modeling

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Database and Data Warehouse Basics, Hadoop, SQL Server DB, Spark
• Visualization and UI/UX experience
