About you

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: 

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience of 3 to 5 years as a project manager
• Advanced knowledge in the use of project management software to manage projects, e.g. Jira and Confluence
• knowledge about project management methodologies (scrum, agile methodologies, waterfall kanban, lean).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• English B2+, as you will be working directly with US clients.
• Desirable experience in government projects.
• Previous experience on the aviation industry is a plus.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: 

• Managing the production of the required deliverables. 
• Planning and monitoring the project. 
• Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures. 
• Preparing and maintaining the project, stage, and exception plans as required. 
• Managing project risks including the development of contingency plans. 
• Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary. 
• Conducting a project evaluation review to assess how well the project was managed. 
• Preparing any follow-on action recommendations. 
• Knowledge, understanding, and implementation of scrum methodology.  
• Deep understanding of the contract and its execution.  
• Monitoring and supervising budget execution. 

Qualifications

Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent.
