About you

You have a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, architecture and best practices. As a GCP DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and 2 years of proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar role, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and IAM.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including VPNs, VPCs, and CDN.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer) is a plus.
• Advanced english level.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and provide technical guidance.
• Develop cloud migration strategies and lead the migration of on-premises workloads to GCP.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on GCP.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.
