You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Desirable Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on C# and .NET. 
• Extensive experience with GitHub Actions, including: creating, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD workflows for AWS environments; integrating GitHub Actions with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, ECS); automating testing and security scanning as part of the CI/CD pipeline and handling secrets management within GitHub Actions for secure AWS deployments. 
• Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud-native development. 
• Expertise in .NET technologies and ecosystem, including frameworks like ASP.NET Core. 
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform (AWS-specific). 
• Strong proficiency with Git, version control, and agile methodologies. 
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and grow junior team members. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on high-quality solutions.
• Knowledge of Auth0 or other authentication/authorization solutions (Desirable).
• Experience with microservices architectures and RESTful APIs (Desirable).
• Strong background in cloud-native applications and serverless computing (Desirable).

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software applications using C# and .NET frameworks. 
• Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automating build, test, and deployment workflows. 
• Define workflows for multi-environment AWS deployments (development, staging, production), ensuring reliability and performance. 
• Integrate GitHub Actions with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, ECS) to streamline cloud deployments. 
• Automate unit, integration, and end-to-end testing within the CI pipeline to catch issues early in the development process. 
• Ensure secure and compliant deployments by integrating security checks and audits into the pipeline using GitHub Actions. 
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, identifying and removing bottlenecks to improve developer productivity. 
• Build and maintain workflows for branching strategies, automating pull request checks, code linting, and style enforcement. 
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices. 
• Collaborate with product owners, DevOps Team, and QA to ensure smooth delivery of features and functionality. 
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in AWS-based environments, ensuring system reliability and performance. 
•  Advocate for engineering excellence by continuously improving coding standards, development processes, and team efficiency. 
• Document technical designs and solutions to ensure clarity and maintainability.
