Software Engineer Intern, Quality Assurance

【About the role】
In the position of Software Engineer Intern, Quality Assurance at Appier, you will be an integral part of our QA team, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of software quality and reliability. This role provides a unique opportunity to delve into various aspects of software testing and quality control in a fast-paced and innovative tech environment.
We are currently looking for individuals who can commit to an internship schedule of 2-4 days (18-32 hours) per week. 
This internship opportunity entails a minimum duration of 1 year, beginning from the present date. Students from the third year of undergraduate to the second year of master's program are welcome!

【Responsibilities】

• Manual Test Execution
• Reporting bugs via JIRA
• Bug fix verification
• Exploratory Testing with guided charter
• (Advertising Cloud) Test the AD in App/Website, record the screen video and network traffic log(get from proxy server log) from click AD to open the destination product page.
• (Personalization Cloud, Data Cloud) Test the multi channel marketing automation service empowered by AI. Ensure integration between components or products. Find weak links in complex system architecture.

【About you】

- Minimum requirement -

• Able to understand requirements, specifications, and follow the test steps written in English.
• Interested in learning new technology and solving real world problems.
• A graduating student/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Preferred qualifications -

• Experience in web and mobile application testing
• Experience in HTTP Protocol and its functionality (RESTful API, Cookie, WebUI, ..)
• Experience in Fiddler/Charles proxy server
• Experience in Postman/SoapUI HTTP test
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience with programming using AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor...) is a plus.
