QA Analyst

We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our collaborative QA team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of client projects, testing both mobile and web applications as an integral part of a cross-functional Scrum team. You will join a supportive group with varying levels of experience, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow your own skills while coaching and mentoring junior team members.

our primary mission will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications by executing thorough testing across all levels from system and integration to regression and UAT support. Operating in a fast-paced, Agile environment, you’ll collaborate with developers and product teams to catch defects early and help deliver exceptional digital experiences for our clients.

As a QA Analyst, you will take charge of the end-to-end testing lifecycle for your project. You will analyse incoming user requirements for testability, craft comprehensive test cases, and execute test procedures to assess overall system quality. You will also be responsible for accurately reporting actual results and managing defects through our tracking systems to keep the delivery team aligned.

What you’ll be working on

• Undertake all levels of software testing, including system, regression, and integration testing.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases to ensure applications meet client expectations.

• Analyse, review, and assess user requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation for testability.

• Design, build, and maintain robust test cases and test scenarios.

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual and functional test procedures.

• Analyse system behavior and formally report on overall quality by documenting actual vs. expected results.

• Log, monitor, and manage defects within our defect management systems, ensuring all relevant technical information is provided.

• Act as a peer mentor, helping to coach and develop junior members of the testing team.

What you’ll bring to the team

You are a meticulous investigator with a strong foundational knowledge of testing processes and the software development lifecycle. You thrive in iterative, Agile environments and possess the excellent communication skills required to collaborate across disciplines. With a sharp eye for detail and great problem-solving abilities, you can isolate complex issues and effectively manage your time to meet project deadlines.

• A good working knowledge of structured testing processes, project lifecycles, and Agile methodologies.

• Working knowledge of Web and Mobile platform application development, alongside experience using Jira and modern test management tools.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to confidently report on test progress and defect technicalities.

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to successfully identify, isolate, and document system flaws.

• An understanding of programming languages and the ability to read and understand code for basic test scripting purposes.

• Efficient time management skills to prioritize testing tasks, hit sprint deadlines, and keep projects moving forward.

• A willingness to stay updated on modern industry trends, testing methodologies, and emerging QA technologies.

• An ISTQB Foundation certificate is highly desirable, as is previous experience working within a fast-paced digital agency environment.
