What can you do as a Data Pipeline Engineer?

  • Build and deploy end-to-end data pipelines required for analytics within AWS, Azure, and Snowflake platforms.
  • Participate in architecture; hands-on leadership of design and development of features for the Anvilogic Data Pipelines.
  • Own data pipeline projects, drive them to completion and support them in production while ensuring optimal reliability and observability.
  • Collaborate closely with detection engineering and threat hunting (ML-based and hunt analyst-based) teams to meet data requirements needs. 
  • Design complex test cases for the system, working with the QA team.
  • Mentor and guide other team members in monitoring and alerting best practices, ensuring the entire team is equipped to handle incidents effectively.
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and our partners to ensure we’re always working toward customer success.
  • Be a hands-on and collaborative player within our teams.
  • Work effectively within Anvilogic’s methodology and processes.
  • An unyielding desire to build and automate secure, reliable, and scalable data pipeline solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience required with fluency in Python.
  • Minimum 3 years of working with cloud services experience required, primarily within AWS or Azure.
  • A bachelor’s degree or a compelling story.
  • Experience with working with security data and SIEM technologies, preferred.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and engineering solutions for complex systems and applications.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CloudFormation, Azure ResourceManager) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience producing professional-quality documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in groups and one-on-one interactions.
