The Role:

As a Senior Product Engineer at Anterior, you will include:

• Full-stack software development, including designing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure at scale

• Own, lead, and ship projects using agile methodologies

• Leverage experience in systems design to enable large app migration. Bring understanding of software architecture to contribute to PRDs and application-level system design.

• Build products that are robust, secure, scalable, and user friendly

• Use software engineering best practices, including DRY code, modular and extensible architecture and pragmatic algorithms to executive business logic

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and 60 months of experience in the job offered or a software development-related occupation.

  Any amount of experience in the following additional skills will be acceptable unless a specific amount is noted. Prior academic background or work experience to include the following skills:

• Front-end and back-end technologies, including Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Python Django

• Building and maintaining full-stack applications, including developing REST APIs, web dashboards, and scalable backend services

• Software architecture principles, including designing modular and scalable systems

• Managing and monitoring infrastructure at scale, including cloud services (AWS) and database management (Postgres)

• Overseen large application migrations

• Agile principles and frameworks, with experience leading and delivering projects within a multidisciplinary team

• Worked directly with product managers and end user feedback and testing towards an iterative product development cycle

Hiring process & application

1. Review: Submit resume

2. Screening call (30 mins): A call with one of our team to talk through your current/past experience, your motivations and tell you more about Anterior

3. Technical Phone Screen: Paired programming session to gain a baseline of your technical ability.

4. Final Interview

   1. In-person technical interview (2x 45 mins): You'll be given a task to complete in person with two of our engineers to showcase your technical skills

   2. Culture Interview (30 mins): You'll have the opportunity to converse with members of the Anterior team, and help evaluate if you're someone we'd like to welcome aboard and if you also perceive us as a team you'd like to be part of
