Our approach is guided by OWASP principles, emphasizing DRY code, modular and extensive architectures, and the use of pragmatic algorithms to execute business logic effectively. Attention to detail is paramount in our coding practices, whether it's developing OOP Classes, REST APIs, web dashboards, or infrastructure components. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Anterior, you bring a wealth of experience and expertise that enables you to manage complex infrastructure projects end-to-end, while effectively coordinating with stakeholders and meeting deadlines. Your ability to work closely with the team is crucial, requiring not only technical skills but also empathy, deep curiosity, communication and collaboration.

About you

• You have developed a deep empathy for users, collaborating with Product managers and incorporating end-user feedback and testing into an iterative development cycle

• You have built and maintained infrastructure for large-scale projects, contributing significantly to high-throughput systems with extensive user bases or substantial revenue impact

• You understand and appreciate scale in the many dimensions it can be observed

• You have designed, maintained, and monitored scalable infrastructure, creating state-of-the-art backend services including message queues

• You have led and delivered projects with multiple contributors as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing agile principles and frameworks

• You have expertise in multi-cloud environments, including Azure, AWS and on-premises solutions, and can navigate complex cloud architectures

• You understand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and have hands-on experience with tools like Terrfaorm, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and database management (both NoSQL and SQL)

• You are experienced in environments requiring self-direction and adaptability, such as early-stage startups and greenfield projects

• You exhibit a solid grasp of software architecture, contributing to product requirements documents and application-level systems thinking and planning

• You possess deep knowledge and understanding of software engineering best practices, supported by either a robust academic background in the field or extensive experience as a senior contributor within a team

• Bonus skills include experience with data pipelines, enterprise integrations, and AWS/Azure Marketplace offerings

Application and hiring process

We like to move fast and get to a decision ASAP. The cycle from screening call to decision shouldn’t take longer than 2 weeks.

1. Review: Submit CV/resume

2. Screening call (30 mins): A call with one of our team to talk through your current/past experience, your motivations and rell you more about Anterior

3. In-person technical interview: You'll be given a task to complete in person with two of our engineers to showcase your full-stack skills.

4. Culture Interview (45 mins):You'll have the opportunity to converse with members of the Anterior team, and help evaluate if you're someone we'd like to welcome aboard and if you also perceive us as a team you'd like to be part of.
