Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet business requirements and are visually appealing and user-friendly.

• Architect and implement robust data models, including semantic modeling and data transformation using Power Query (M) and DAX.

• Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance, including query optimization, data caching, and report rendering.

• Develop and implement best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and maintenance.

• Mentor and guide junior Power BI developers, providing technical expertise and support.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends.

• Manage the Power BI environment, including security, access control, and deployment.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI related issues.

• Contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development, including DAX, M, data modeling, and visualization.

• Strong in SQL

• Deep understanding of Power BI architecture, including gateways, datasets, and workspaces.

• Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI dashboards.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

• Excellent SQL skills.

• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with other data visualization tools like Tableau, SSRS, Sigma, etc.

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure (specifically Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics) or AWS.

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

• Understanding of Big Data and Datawarehouse , ETL pipelines etc.

• Experience with data governance and security best practices.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
