DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is interested in helping our customers design, build, and maintain secure cloud-based DevOps solutions for our largest Federal and Enterprise customers.

What you can expect to be doing

• Educating customers of the value proposition of Anchore products and services
• Deploying and maintaining mission critical applications on cloud-native architectures
• Implementing secure automated workflows, infrastructure and configuration as code, and effective monitoring
• Deploying and operating CI/CD pipelines and software factories across multi & hybrid cloud environments
• Supporting and working alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
• Implementing industry best practices for container hardening and configuration management
• Developing a deep understanding of competing and complementary technologies across the cloud-native ecosystem

What you'll need to bring

• 3 years + experience as a DevOps Engineer/SRE or Linux System Administrator
• Proficiency with common scripting languages such as Python and Bash
• Strong knowledge of Linux
• Hands-on experience with container-based deployments and container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and related tooling including used in provisioning and management (e.g. Helm, Kubectl, Kustomize)
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment pipelines and software, such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD  
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC), such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Application and Container Security knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. citizenship required
