The Medical Devices Group is seeking a Computer Science/Electronics Engineer to join our Medical Products Group in the Emerging Business Unit. We are looking for talented and motivated engineers in electronic engineering or computer science to join our Cloud and Systems Integration team. This position provides a broad perspective of the entire project, as cloud technologies serve as the backbone connecting all developments within our group. Engineers will have the opportunity to interact with multiple teams, gaining insight into the different aspects of our work and contributing to seamless system integration—an experience that can be highly rewarding and motivating. Our group is inherently multidisciplinary, covering a wide range of expertise, from electronic prototyping and radio communications to cloud-based backend solutions, frontend development, and web applications. Additionally, we collaborate on clinical trials, supporting real-world testing and validation of our technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration in implementation of containerized cloud services for medical devices.
- Collaboration in the development of a webapp for managing devices and clinical data.
- Participate in demos and user acceptance tests.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Javascript) in a professional environment.
- Hands-on experience of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) in a professional environment.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Previous experience in a software development environment.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Jira, etc.).
- Comfort working on a diverse team with local and distributed teammates
- Knowledge of, and comfort with, general principles of the SDLC
- Strong problem solving and analytical design skills
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with electronic schematics.
- Knowledge in UI/UX and visual style.
- Expertise with standard design tools (InVision, Figma, Sketch, Illustrator etc.).
- Able to render designs in HTML, JS, CSS.
- Experience designing mobile interfaces, responsive web.
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments.
