Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
Analyze root cause of RMA returns
Investigate new product failures
Determine cause of yield excursions
Meet ADI’s failure analysis cycle time and quality commitments
Develop new techniques for analyzing failures
Work with Design, Application, process, product and package engineering to identify the failure root cause and propose corrective actions
Take ownership for a piece of failure analysis equipment; and keep it running
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Physics, or Science degree with semiconductor emphasis. Master’s degree Preferred.
Strong technical understanding of how a diode and transistor work
Good understating of Analog and mixed signal circuit analysis
Ability to read schematics and layout
Good English oral and written communication skills
Ability to use a curve tracer and electrical bench equipments
Good troubleshooting skills
Fab and/or assembly process experience a plus
Chemistry lab experience is a plus

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $85,560 to $117,645.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
