Amplify is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of digital and print products in the Amplify Math program, a K-12 comprehensive math curriculum.The project manager will guide the Amplify Math product team through all phases of development  from R&D to design, content development, production, and through to product launch. A successful project manager will work with the product team to set project goals, keep the team aligned and collaboratively working together, and ensure on-time on-budget delivery of the product within project guidelines. This role will create and track multiple intersecting project plans, lead teams to defined scope, create schedules, manage budgets, identify workflows, and manage resources. The project manager will also own the processes related to  risk management and decision/change management throughout the project lifecycle. This role will have accountability for high level milestones as well as granular milestones including management of production-level schedules and vendor management, ensuring internal and external alignment in order to meet project delivery milestones.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager, Math Assessment, Supplementals and Intervention:

  • Proactively manage all phases of Amplify Math digital and print product development, ensuring each phase is completed within established guidelines

  • Create and manage concurrent robust project plans throughout the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality

  • Facilitate the processes of decision-making and change management to maintain team alignment and communicate clear project goals

  • Track and communicate critical project issues, risks, and decisions; Present proposed solutions and implement strategies to mitigate risk 

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and report status to stakeholders

  • Lead effective team collaboration meetings with team members at all levels of the organization 

  • Support and advocate for project teams and ensure they are set up for success by creating realistic project plans while maintaining a focus on project objectives

  • Manage production vendors, including procurement (RFP responses/SOW creation), internal/external workflows, billing, and alignment to overall project plan

Basic Qualifications of the Project Manager, Math Assessment, Supplementals and Intervention:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a project management role managing complex, multi-year projects with excellent risk management and contingency planning experience

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple long term projects 

  • Proven ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to present information clearly and enthusiastically; Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in the use of project management applications such as Smartsheet, Google Suite, and other project scheduling tools

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications of the Project Manager, Math Assessment, Supplementals and Intervention:

  • Experience managing 5+ cross-functional teams within a project lasting over 1 year

  • 3 years of project management experience in the content development or publishing industry

  • Agile experience 

  • PMP certification

Compensation:

The hourly rate range for this role is $50 - $56.
