AMP Robotics is hiring a Software Engineer that can work remotely in the U.S. only.
We are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience building full-stack web applications to join our team in a technical leadership role. This person will be expected to contribute to the handful of internal and external-facing products owned by the web team.
As our Software Engineer, you will work to:
- Build new features in a variety of languages and frameworks
- Mature and build on the team’s existing CI/CD paths to production
- Continuously identify and champion development process improvements within the team and company
- Contribute to our digital infrastructure and service architecture in GCP
- Participate in and influence the tactical and strategic direction of the team’s products
- Brainstorm and investigate ways to turn AMP’s data into actionable insights for our customers
- Play a significant role in nurturing the long term growth and health of software teams at AMP.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have:
Required:
- 3+ years member of a team building full-stack web applications from requirements to production.
- 2+ years building with one or more modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
- Experience working with several programming languages. Python, Javascript, Typescript are ideal but not required.
- Comfortable managing and using relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Has deployed to and utilized services of a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred:
- Led one or more teams as a technical lead
- Experience working in an agile and/or XP environment.
- Strong product management skills and opinions
- History working with Docker, Kubernetes, and any popular CI/CD platforms

Salary & Compensation Information: $110,000 - $139,000
Equity Grant: The candidate selected for this role will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and the candidate’s qualifications.
