SAP Lead Solution Architect, Source to Pay

What you will do

In this vital role you will will be responsible for leading, architecting, designing, and implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions with a focus on end to end Source to Pay (S2P) processes and capabilities. As an SAP Lead Solution Architect within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) team, this role will help guide the transition from our worldwide ERP instance on SAP ECC to the S/4HANA Intelligent Enterprise, along with the successful migration of the other S2P integrated systems . Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide vision and strategy to advance the Source to Pay (S2P) capabilities
• Lead overall design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Source to Pay solutions and it’s integrated third party systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure alignment of SAP S/4HANA solutions with business goals and leading practices
• Lead architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystem utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading control practices

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant SAP experience OR

Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of relevant SAP experience OR

Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of relevant SAP experience OR

Diploma and 14 to 18 years of relevant SAP experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills (Not more than 3 to 4):

• Experience in leading complex architecture, design and configuring all aspects of Source pay solutions at a global scale part of S/4HANA
• Hands-on experience in configuring: S/4HANA sourcing & Procurement, Ariba Procure to Pay, Cloud Integration gateway (CIG), and SAP Business Network
• Demonstrable understanding of Source to Pay upstream and downstream business processes (i.e. Sourcing, Contracts, Procure to Pay modules)
• Ability to lead and resolve complex issues across a distributed landscape of SAP and non-SAP technologies

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Disbursement solution
• Experience working in an agile environment as a product owner and familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong track record of mentoring junior technology talent

Professional Certifications:

• Relevant SAP S/4HANA (preferred)
• Relevant SAP Ariba Procure to Pay solutions (preferred)

• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
