Job Description

Under the supervision of the Security Officers Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for performing security duties on the work premises.

What you will be responsible for:

• Controlling entries and exits (visitors, employees, clients)
• Patrolling, on foot or by vehicle, the buildings as well as the yard (AIM Montréal and Laval)
• Assuring excellent Customer service
• Ensuring the protection of evidence in the event of an offense
• Protecting the premises in case of an incident
• Intervening in case of fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, or the presence of hazardous materials
• Writing reports and logs
• Crime prevention
• Locking and unlocking doors
• Conducting searches in case of suspicion
• Performing any other related tasks

Qualifications

To join our team:

• You are able to work shifts: nights, weekends
• You have a high school diploma
• You have a valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée
• You have valid first aid certification
• You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• You are bilingual, French and English (written and spoken)
• You have a clean criminal record
• You have the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally
• You have excellent judgment, observation, and communication skills
• You have completed a first aid course and hold your CPR card
• You have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
