How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

• The Senior Infrastructure Engineer II is responsible for the Automation of Network workflows to optimize and improve Network provisioning experience.
• Candidate will play an integral role for the delivery of network automation solutions and responsible for the management of network automation infrastructure and systems.
• Provides architectural governance, reviewing projects to ensure alignment to architectural standards and technical strategy.
• Candidate will have good Understanding of IaaS, PaaS concepts and infrastructure provisioning methodologies.
• Works with the Directors of Business and Technical Architecture to identify technical solutions and business process improvements in support of the business and IT strategic direction
• The candidate partners with the American Express Technology architecture teams in determining a practical adaptation of enterprise standards through informal feedback sessions
• Helps in development of web services and should have good understanding of APIs (REST and SOAP with XML or JSON)
• The candidate will  lead, influence and drive vendor direction to deliver innovated solutions that are advantageous to American Express.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of  experience in data network automation using Python, Ansible, Puppet, Netmiko etc.
• Experience in Linux systems administration.
• Good knowledge  of Object-oriented programming skills (Python, Django, JAVA, J2EE)
• Knowledge of Web design & development with hands on experience in UI technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS & etc.
• Good knowledge on open source control tools like Subversion, Git, bitbucket, GitHub
• Strong expertise on DevOps concepts like Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous delivery (CD) and Infrastructure as Code, Cloud deployments.
• Conceptualize, architect and build a containerized infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes or similar SaaS platforms.
• Experience or knowledge of network services is a plus (Cisco switches, load balancers, firewalls, etc.)
• Good understanding of Database schema development (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP, Netconf
• Must be willing to learn new technologies while being able to adapt to a fast pace service driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to communicate to all levels of peers, customers, and leadership
