How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for small, medium, and large businesses. The Operational Excellence (OE) team strives to ensure that GCS has a robust first line of defense, playing an active role in supporting the growth of business, meet its objectives and demonstrating an effective control framework.

The Senior Manager – Project Manager, Conduct Risk will be part of the Operational Excellence team and will be dedicated to supporting conduct risk initiatives within the GCS business unit. Our key goal is the successful implementation of the US Business Conduct program that involves uplifting sales practices in GCS by collaborating with GCS Sales Leaders, Compliance, General Counsel, Colleague Engagement Group, 2nd line risk management and other critical partners to sustain and improve a culture of Winning the Right Way. The successful candidate will have past demonstrated success in transformational activities that will permit them to drive the US Business Conduct program to the next level and thrive in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead multiple priorities using strong project management skills
  • Collaborate across OE colleagues to define project plan roadmaps
  • Provide ongoing visibility of the roadmap, project plans, progress, dependencies, and risks to leadership and business partners
  • Engage with business partners to define comprehensive business needs
  • Plan and execution operational readiness strategies for launches with key tasks including training development, creation of scorecards, establishing floor support plans, etc.
  • Proactively assess any risks and raise any issues, as needed
  • Evaluate data and identify themes to build strategies and action plans

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading projects
  • Strong relationship proficiencies, demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and lead through conflict and develop relationships to achieve successful outcomes with multiple band levels
  • Self-motivated and strong team player, able to handle multiple work streams under time constraints and across geographical locations
  • Solid risk and control, and/or process improvement background
  • Ability to ask the “right” questions without having extensive knowledge in a particular business area
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to launch and lead complex processes and projects
  • Ability to assess and understand regulatory requirements while focusing on customer experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to drive compelling messages to broad audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, compliance, risk management or audit in a consulting environment
  • Experience with regulators or regulated entities, as well as internal and external auditors
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinker & problem solver, able to see implications beyond individual business units and markets
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo combined with the ability to develop and convey ideas at all levels within the organization
  • Experience in risk assessment

Salary Range: $90,000 to $165,000 annually + bonus + benefits
