Responsibilities:

• Functioning as senior member of an Agile team helping drive consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation).
• Working closely with Product Owners in analyzing business features and refining them to appropriately support design and build activities.
• Performing all technical development and support for assigned applications including architecture, design, developing prototypes, supporting platform upgrades would also needed
• Hand-on architecture knowledge working closely with technical architects and design review would be needed
• Enabling the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
• Manages and mentors teams of junior and senior engineers through ongoing sprints
• Having experience on Micro-strategy and Google Cloud platform would be a plus
• Help craft the direction of machine learning and artificial intelligence at AmEx
  
  

Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics or related fields.

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong analytical skills and programming skills, with experience with deployment in production environment.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with the following technologies:
• Python
• Big Data – Spark/Hive
• Microstrategy
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform( Big Query, Data Proc, GCS), Spark.
• Knowledge on Tableau is good to have.
• Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as Jenkins, Git, Stash and Jira
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners
