Job Summary: 

At Digital Workplace, we are in pursuit of a Senior Engineer I to augment our Enterprise Search platform. This pivotal role entails spearheading innovation in full-stack machine learning engineering, with a keen focus on leveraging technologies such as Java, Python, Pytorch, GenAI, and Elasticsearch. 

 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Spearhead the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable full-stack machine learning applications, emphasizing Enterprise Search. 
  • Employ advanced deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch, in conjunction with MLOps methodologies to forge state-of-the-art solutions. 
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of intricate data structures and their related components, notably knowledge graphs. 
  • Architect, program, evaluate, and document application components throughout the entire software stack. 
  • Conduct code reviews, oversee software builds, and uphold exemplary development practices. 
  • Analyze and enhance system performance and reliability, instituting quality improvements via thorough root cause analysis. 
  • Guide teams in automating and refining deployments, based on predictive demand analyses, while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Foster technological advancement within teams, demonstrating a distinguished track record of innovation. 

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • A minimum of 9+ years in software development, with proven proficiency in Java, Python, Redis, Elasticsearch, and full-stack development. 
  • Proficiency in machine learning, especially with PyTorch, and a good understanding of MLOps principles. 
  • Expertise in crafting context-sensitive applications employing knowledge graphs. 
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering teams and a history of effective team guidance. 
  • Practical experience with distributed systems, algorithms, relational databases, and system architecture. 
  • An advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, emphasizing machine learning or AI. 
  • A track record of engaging with emerging technologies and adapting to new technological advancements.
