How will you make an impact in this role?

As a Senior Engineer in Cloud Engineering, you will be a key to the development of Hybrid Cloud Platform as Service (PaaS) architecture and systems that span multiple clouds ( AWS, GCP,Azure, Private Cloud). In this role you · Perform Rapid POCs to prove software initiatives and validate ideas for large multi cloud platform deployments · Actively participate in the design of new systems and the redesign of existing systems to meet product requirements, changing needs · Support engineers and product managers in rapid development and deployment in agile fashion · Drive both high level and detailed design, conduct design reviews, and feature implementation · Engage and work with cross-functional leaders to understand and help define business principles, goals and strategy within scope of responsibility. · Communicate to senior leaders with regard to strategy direction and changes. · Mentor engineers and solution architects to ensure technology complexities are understood very clearly to implement solutions expeditiously with high quality. · Troubleshoot production issues by engaging support teams and assist in the resolution of issues; formulate action plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and create/update support Runbooks

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field
• 6-10 years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering
• 6-10 years of experience with Kubernetes/Openshift, distributed systems design and architecture
• 4-6 years of experience in any one of the languages GO/Java/Python for cloud native applications development and automation 4-6 years working knowledge on Ansible/Terraform, Helm and other DevOps tools
• 3-5 years of experience With Istio/Linkerd service mesh.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Openshift/Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
• Deep understanding of cloud security, scalability and high availability architectures
• Experience in Hybrid cloud architectures and multi cloud deployments
• Deep understanding and implementation of Service mesh technology at scale
• Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud environments, networking and system performance tunings AWS/GCP/Azure/VMware experience
• Strong experience in designing, developing and managing micro services based applications CKD/A, Public cloud solution architect certifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
