The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.

GO2 Unify is the Java based POA platform for Global Onboarding and Orchestration. GO2 is the platform that takes care of all activities required to be done for onboarding a customer across markets, segments and products. When a customer selects an Amex product from a channel (example americanexpress.com), enters the demographic and other information and clicks submit, the application is passed over to GO2.

Minimum Qualifications 
•    Preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical field
•    5+ years software development experience
•    Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions.
•    A proven understanding of "how things work" in the world of computers, the Internet, databases, and the Java programming language - you will be assessed heavily in this area.
•    Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their efficient potential.
•    Continuous integration/deployment in an Agile Framework covering the aspect of design development and testing (SDLC).
•    Clear understanding of object-oriented development
•    Strong development experience with Java 8 & above, Spring framework, REST APIs & Java Script.
•    Experience with various relational and NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and Couchbase.
•    Good understanding of Data structures, web services technology & Microservices design patterns.
•    Experience in message streaming technologies like solace, Kafka is a plus.
•    Knowledge of Synchronous & Asynchronous programming experience like Callbacks, Future, Polling, Timeout & Error Handling is a plus
•    Experience in crafting and developing REST APIs for high volume clients.
•    Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI) a plus.
•    Experience with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, etc.), a plus.
•    Experience in automated build and test frameworks is a plus.
•    Experience of DevOps and test-driven development is a plus
•    Experience in other technologies like AngularJS, React and Node.js is a plus.
•    Strong ability to develop unique, outside the box ideas.
•    Skills for learning and applying programming concepts.
•    Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.    

Preferred Additional:
•    Knowledge of payments industry
•    Experience with coding skills across a variety of distributed technologies.
•    Experience with a broad range of software languages and payments technologies.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
