Job Description

Amentum is seeking systems engineering professionals with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA.

You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges.

The degree of telecommuting availability varies with each position and customer. Schedule is predominantly a standard workday but at times flexibility may be required to support a surge effort or event. Some travel may be required.

Infrastructure Engineer Responsibility Include:

• Provide Software and Software Infrastructure support to Navy Projects in an Agile environment.
• Perform trade studies to identify direction on infrastructure improvements.
• Leverage MBSE and IBM DOORS for the cataloging of information.

Minimum Requirements: 

• 0 to 3 years of experience with C, C++, and/or Assembly
• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Embedded Systems Development
• OS skills
• MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) and modeling
• DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System)
• Docker
• Trade Studies

Compensation Details:

US: 80,000 to $120,000
