VERIFICATION ENGINEER THE ROLE: We are looking for a Verification Engineer to join our team working on next-generation data centre GPUs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge silicon development while learning on the job in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position is ideal for someone eager to build strong debugging and verification skills, gain hands-on experience with real-world hardware systems, and grow into a high-impact engineering role. JOB DETAILS: Location: Cambridge or Bristol, UK Hybrid: 3 days/week in office WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Support verification of complex hardware designs by triaging test failures, developing test cases, and contributing to functional coverage Work closely with experienced engineers to understand system behaviour, debug issues, and improve overall design quality WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You are a final‑year student or a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or a related field Strong foundation in digital logic, computer science or mathematics Internship, coursework, or projects in digital design/verification, formal methods Familiarity with C++ is a plus Passionate about hardware; curious about hardware verification Self-motivated, self-driven, and enjoys problem solving Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly Clear communicator and collaborative team player with a growth mindset #LI-JZ1 #LI-HYBRID Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
