THE ROLE: The Radeon AI & CGVDI Customer Engineering organization works with large enterprise to enable successful deployment of Radeon GPU products in the datacenter. You will be a key member of this customer-facing team responsible for leading triaging and debugging hardware and software issues in a complex cloud infrastructure and datacenter server environments. Such a role provides a unique opportunity to learn leading edge GPU, Servers, Cloud technologies and solutions and growing your career with a key BU (Business Unit) at AMD. THE PERSON: As a member of the Radeon AI & CGVDI customer engineering team you will work directly with the customer to understand, reproduce, and debug any issues they encounter with our product. The ideal candidate will bring broad knowledge/experience of servers, PCIe cards, accelerators, drivers, operating systems, benchmarking, performance analysis, programming and triaging/debugging of software and platform issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with AMD’s customers to address technical challenges Triaging and debugging software and platform issues in a complex high-end server environment Architect, install and test solutions in-house as required, to ensure successful deployments and evaluations Develop POCs (proof of concept) solutions to demonstrate product capability at the Server and SW stack levels. Partner with other AMD subject matter experts to solve specific customer challenges PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Advanced experience (ideally with System, Server, PCIe HW, Drivers and/or Semiconductor vendors) Knowledge/experience in Linux/Windows, virtualization software (VMware, Ubuntu, et al), Programming (e.g., Python, C, C++), SW tools, Testing, Benchmarks, Workloads Prior experience with testing tools and environments, defect tracking and revision control Knowledge of general Computer Architecture concepts and silicon features Knowledge/experience of GPUs, Virtualization, AI/ML, and in a datacenter environment Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to deliver clear and concise information with technical and non-technical teams Strong organizational and project management skills reflect the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
