AMD together we advance_ SENIOR SOFTWARE SYSTEMS DESIGNER    THE ROLE:   We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Software Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s products, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Software Systems Design Engineering team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.        PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:   • Hands on experience on Python scripting language is mandatory. • Good to have experience on Selenium, Mongo DB / SQL and python Web API. • Good knowledge on System level ( desktop / Server ) understanding, debugging and trouble shooting. • Good understanding of testing lifecycle, QA process & terminology. • Must have hands on experience on CPU and DGPU ASIC architecture. • Must be familiar with Testing standards and documentation (tracking, reporting, Test Case, Test Plan) . • Knowledge on OS installation and OS level Debugging on both WIN and Linux. • Server-client /networking/hardware domain knowledge is required. • Capability of working Independently. • Hands on experience with Application-level testing. • Good to have prior experience in Thermal /Debug /Power/Firmware/ Graphics areas of CPU-DGPU. • Good knowledge on Jenkins, GIT and JIRA. • Additional skillset (not mandatory to have) - HTML, CSS, JS, Django or any web design frontend. • Additional skillset on ML and UI • Good to have YOCTO OS debugging , installation knowleadge    ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:   Bachelors or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.    #LI-SK3 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
