- Design, develop, and support Windows kernel-mode device drivers for AMD platform features and power IP enablement.
- Drive driver development activities across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases, from architecture alignment through product delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical dependencies, manage execution priorities, and meet program commitments.
- Implement and debug paravirtualized driver solutions using VirtIO architecture and related virtualization technologies.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues involving PCIe enumeration, configuration space, interrupts, DMA, and guest-host memory sharing.
- Partner with virtualization, firmware, validation, and platform teams to improve driver stability, performance, and production readiness.
- Debug kernel-level issues using Windows debugging tools, crash dump analysis, and root cause investigation methods.
- Support delivery of production-quality Windows drivers aligned with certification and product quality expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in Windows kernel-mode driver development.
- Hands-on experience with VirtIO architecture and paravirtualized drivers.
- Strong background in Windows driver frameworks such as KMDF, with exposure to WDM or UMDF considered a plus.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++.
- Experience with Windows kernel debugging tools, including WinDbg and crash dump analysis.
- Good understanding of PCIe enumeration, configuration space, interrupts, MSI/MSI-X, DMA, and memory sharing between guest and host.
- Familiarity with virtualization stacks such as Xen, KVM, and QEMU device models.
- Experience delivering production-quality, WHQL-certified drivers.
- Knowledge of Windows device driver development, WDM, UMDF, Xen, and WHQL certification workflows.
- Strong communication, ownership, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
